Chisom Chieke is an Igbo-American multimedia artist and second-generation storyteller who makes chaos look intentional. Her work digs into radical love, identity, and personal growth in Black diasporic communities. She writes, directs, and produces stories about “late bloomers,” women juggling cultural expectations, generational pressure, and the occasional existential meltdown.

An award-winning filmmaker, Chisom has received recognition from numerous film festivals and fellowships, including a nomination for the 57th Annual NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Short Form (Live Action) for Food for the Soul (Short). Her work has been further developed through competitive programs such as Stowe Story Labs and and The Fellowship, a creative accelerator for BIPOC fantasy novella writers. She is a 2025 BlackStar Director’s Lab Fellow and an alumna of HBO’s Amy Aniobi’s Tribe Writers Program.

Chisom is the founder of STUDIO ÀNYÍ, a creative collective.
